Our Process
Needs Assessment – Love For Malawi meets with local leaders and residents to conduct assessments for the most pressing needs per their input and guidance.
Project Formulation – In consultation with local leaders and residents, we identify possible solutions and/or resources necessary to address the needs of the community. This includes a detailed plan on not only the initial implementation of the project, but also a plan and process to include the long term sustainability of the project.
Project Business Plan – A cost analysis and business plan is established for each project, with initial capital and operating expenses identified.
Fund Raising – Charitable donations are secured from donors and partners for each project’s implementation and sustainable operations, with the goal of a minimum of 95% of all contributions going directly to fund the project.
Implementation – Love For Malawi works with local labor, residents, leaders, government officials, and NGO’s to implement the most effective solution. Employing local labor is a key component of any of our projects, so as to support the local economy through job creation and vendor suppliers.
Project Evaluation – Our professional evaluation team conducts an evaluation analysis on the effectiveness of the project before, during, and after the implementation process, and on an ongoing basis.
